NMTI's Weekend Massage Therapy Program

Weekend Massage Therapy Curriculum

The National Massage Therapy Institute's weekend program is 720 hours and qualifies students to sit for the National Certification Exam in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCETMB). The curriculum consists of eight course modules: an introductory-level class; six massage therapy courses focusing on specific types of therapy and areas of the body; and a choice between specialization in either: Sports and Active Isolated Stretching or Prenatal, Infant and Geriatrics.

Massage Specialties

After completing the first 7 modules of the 720 hour massage therapy program, NMTI students have the option between continuing their education with one of our massage specialties in either Sports and Active Isolated Stretching or Prenatal, Infant and Geriatrics.* Each specialty is an additional 90 hour module of instruction.  A specialty can give students a competitive advantage when applying for jobs in their desired field.
